Museum Tours
The Sangre de Cristo Arts Center offers a wide variety of tours for students kindergarten through adult. Tours are available Tuesday–Friday, 9:30-4:00. Tours are LED by a trained docent and tailored for the needs of each group.
Add a Workshop in Theater, Clay, Painting, Fibers, Sculpture, and more! Workshops can be tailored to meet your group’s needs and are all lead by artists.

Please schedule tours at least two weeks in advance. Be prepared to give us the planned date and time(s) of your tour, number of students, grade level(s), teacher name(s), phone number(s) and e-mail address(es).
Pre-arranged tours are $2.00 per person
All school tours address Colorado State Content Standards.
TRANSPORTATION SCHOLARSHIPS NOW AVAILABLE
The Sangre de Cristo Arts Center is proud to announce that Target Corporation has awarded a grant to help fund field trips to the Sangre de Cristo Arts Center.
Awards are made on a first-come, first-served basis and are for private or public schools only. In order to qualify for a transportation scholarship, you must sign up for a full tour of the Sangre de Cristo Arts Center to include the Buell Children’s Museum. Most transportation scholarships are awarded for up to 50% of the total bus cost for the field trip.
